Gunmen suspected to be herdsmen on Monday reportedly killed three persons again after an attack in Hukke village of Miango in Irigwe chiefdom, Bassa Local Government Area of Plateau state.
An unspecified number of people were said to have also sustained various degrees of gunshot injuries during the deadly attack.
The Plateau State Police Command when contacted through its spokesperson, ASP Gabriel Ubah, said men of the Command have been deployed to the scene of the attack and normalcy is gradually returning to the area.
A statement by the Secretary-General of the Irigwe Development Association, IDA, Danjuma Auta, identified the deceased as Barry Ive 42; Isaiah Gado 45; and Weyi Chohu 40.
The latest attack is coming barely a few days after about six people were killed in an ambush during an attack at Jebbu Miango axis of the Irigwe Chiefdom in Bassa Local Government Area of Plateau State.
