Gombe State Governor, Inuwa Yahaya, has called on religious adherents of the two major faiths in the state to learn to co-exist peacefully.

The State Governor said if the followers of the two religions can understand themselves, it will create the needed atmosphere for good governance.

Yahaya disclosed this while commissioning the Christian Association of Nigeria, CAN, Guest House in Gombe.

Funds for the construction of the guest house came from the Christmas gift the State Governor gave to the association.

The state government said the gesture is a result of its long-standing relationship with the CAN.
