Bayelsa State Governor, Seriake Dickson, has called on Christians in Nigeria to be more prayerful as the country moves towards another round of general elections.
In his Christmas message signed by the State Commissioner for Information and Orientation, Daniel Iworiso-Markson, Governor Dickson called on Christians to do away with acrimony and use the period of Christmas to show love to one another.
Ahead of the forthcoming elections, Governor Dickson told Christians to pray God to avert negative plans by the enemies of the country.
He also called on political leaders not to inflame the country with misguided utterances and actions.
The Bayelsa State Governor assured the people of his administration’s commitment to finish well and strong in the remaining months of his tenure.
