Gombe state governor Inuwa Yahaya has appointed Malam Danladi Maiyamba as the new Mai Tangle.
In a statement signed by the Director-General Press Affairs Government House Ismalia Misilli, the state Governor said he appointed the new Mai in line with the powers vested by him under the Gombe state chieftaincy law 2020 and based on the recommendation of the kingmakers of the Tangele chiefdom.
The Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs had presented the appointment letter to the new Mai Tangele in Poshiya Billiri on behalf of the state Governor.
The statement further added the presentation was done in the presence of the nine Kingmakers with the Local Government Chairman of Billiri Local Government and members of the traditional council.
