Fuel Subsidy Removal: Fed Govt, Labour Resume Talks

Federal Government representatives and Labour leaders are set to resume talks on petrol subsidy removal palliatives, correspondents gathered.

The Permanent Secretary, Federal Ministry of Labour and Employment, Kachallom Daju, disclosed that both parties will reconvene at the presidential Villa, Abuja, by 4pm. They are expected to harmonise some of the demands put forward by the Nigerian Labour Congress (NLC) and the Trade Union Congress (TUC).

Earlier, the organised Labour announced the suspension of its planned strike over the removal of subsidy on petroleum by the Federal Government.
