The former Chairman and son to the founder of Dassault Systèmes, Olivier Dassault passed away yesterday in a helicopter crash.
The incident reportedly happened in Normandy close to his holiday home, around 18:00 leaving no survivors.
The incident is currently being investigated as the civil aviation authority disclosed that the plane crashed “on take-off”.
Dassault considered to be the 361st richest man in the world served as a member of parliament in 2002 representing the Oise area of France
The French president, Emmanuel Macron described Dassault’s passing as a great loss to the country.
Olivier Dassault is survived by his 3 children.
