Police in Enugu State, South East Nigeria said it has mobilized and deployed personnel for the conduct of the presidential and National Assembly elections on Saturday.
Commissioner of Police, Enugu State Command, Suleiman Balarabe told reporters that a last-minute meeting on Friday with heads of other security agencies has streamlined operations.
CP Balarabe is confident that elections will be conducted under a safe and peaceful environment.
The Enugu State Police Commissioner called on prospective voters in the state to go out freely and perform their civic responsibilities on Saturday without fear of security problems.
