At the expiration of 48 hours deadline given to tricycle and motorcycle riders in Asaba, Delta State capital, and its environs to rid itself of miscreants among them, the government moves to reassert its earlier control of their activities.

Hon Joan Mrakpor, the Director-General Capital Territory Development Agency, who in the company of leadership of tricycle and motorcycle riders and Delta State Task Force Chairman, mobilized for operation restore the glory of Asaba Capital Territory.

Asaba Capital Territory under Hon. Mrakpor was overnight transformed from ramshackle state to a place of beauty and serenity with the springing up of well-coordinated fruits and delicacies stores, beautified roads and parks. 

The beautification the pride of the capital development agency having lost its beauty during the EndSARS protest received two weeks mandate from the state governor to be restored to its pre-EndSARS status. 

The combined task force aside focusing on the rebranding of tricycle and motorcycle riders in the state alleged to have some of its members as culprits at the End SARS destruction will also ensure that buildings are without attachments. 

Obi Nzete, President of the Tricycle and Motorcycle Riders in the state, said despite the state governments commitment towards accommodating its members in the state, some of the riders find it difficult to obey the rules guiding their operations.

According to him, the body has perfected plans with the constitution of the task force and monitoring team to further sanitize itself of bad eggs.
