Nigerians in Hungary, Central Europe, held a candlelight ceremony for the lives lost during the EndSARS protests.

The EndSARS peaceful protest started on October 8 and continued till Tuesday, October 20, when uniformed men opened fire on peaceful protesters around.

In addition to the Lekki shooting, many citizens have also lost their lives in the protest including the likes of Jimoh Ishaiq, who was killed by policemen who opened fire on protesters in Oyo State.

To mourn the death of those lost due to police brutality, Nigerians in Hungary held a candlelight parade on Sunday night, October 25.

A placard created during the parade read: “For all the lives we lost in the fight to #EndSARS & #PoliceBrutality.”
