Edo State Governor, Godwin Obaseki has revealed that as part of special agro-processing zones and renewable energy infrastructure motive, the state will receive the sum of $250 million from the United States to produce oil palm and cassava.
He made the declaration at the launch of the Fayus oil palm plantation event in Ewan Usi community in Uhunmwonde Local Government Area of the state.
The governor committed to a conducive environment for investors by providing the neccessary incentives in the oil palm and cassava value chain and also, a viable job market for its youth.
