The Campaign Council of the Edo State People’s Democratic Party, PDP, has accused the former national chairman of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Adams Oshiomole and the National Leader of the APC, Bola Ahmed Tinubu as well as some party chieftains of planning to rig the governorship election.
State Publicity Secretary of the party, Chris Nehikhare, who made the allegation while addressing journalists at a media briefing in Benin City, also revealed that the party was aware of the National leader’s move to raise about three hundred million Naira via illicit means to fund thugs during the election.
Nehikhare further called on Tinubu to focus on states in the south-west region, rather than meddle in the affairs of Edo state.
