Earl Simmons a.k.a DMX, a veteran United States Rapper has been on life support since a heart attack on Saturday, according to close sources.
His lawyer, Murray Richman, disclosed that he could not confirm the reports that DMX overdosed on drugs as a precursor to the heart attack but expressed his sadness over the development.
DMX enjoyed a long and successful career as a hip hop artiste and actor. His first two albums released months apart went platinum and in total has earned three Grammy nominations.
Unfortunately, He has also struggled with substance abuse for a while and at some point went into rehabilitation in 2019
DMX remains on life support at the ICU in critical condition as his family thanked all for their continued support, prayers and well wishes. He has a total of 16 children
