Popular actress Thandie Newton has disclosed that going forward she’d like to be called Thandiwe Newton.
Her original birth name, she claims, was misspelled in her first movie which inspired her shortening it in the first place, but it has now been reversed.
She also appreciated how ethnic minorities are becoming more represented in the entertainment industry.
Despite using the name Thandie for over 30 years, Thandiwe says she’s taking what’s hers back!
