Yobe State Governor, Mai Mala Buni, on Monday, disclosed that the Damaturu International Airport is completed and ready for the May 29 test.

The Governor made known that the International Airport would be made available to Nigeria Military.

Quarters would be made available for the Nigeria Air Force which would allow them to operate in Damaturu.

According to Governor Buni, the new Airport would help in tackling the insurgency that has claimed thousands of lives in the country.

It would help the Nigeria Air Force deal faster with the insurgency in Yobe as they won’t have to travel first to Maiduguri before coming to Yobe.
