The Branch Controller of the Central Bank of Nigeria, CBN, in Bauchi State has dismissed the rumour that the disbursed CBN COVID-19 palliative loan given to Nigerians was free.
The Branch Controller, Haladu Andaza, said this while granting an interview to reporters in his office.
The introduction of COVID-19 palliative by the Federal Government, aimed at cushioning the effects of the pandemic during the lockdown days, saw many Nigerians benefiting from it.
Andaza, therefore, advised the beneficiaries to use the funds in farming or any other profitable business, especially now that the farming season has intensified.
