Adamawa State Governor, Fintiri presents 2021 Appropriation Bill

The Adamawa State COVID-19 index case and four other patients have been successfully treated and discharged from the state’s treatment centre.

Governor Ahmadu Fintiri was at the centre to celebrate their recovery and reintegration back to the community.

The state recorded its first COVID-19 case on April 20, followed by the second case of a medical doctor.

Governor Fintiri, who was present at the treatment centre to announce the discharge of the five patients, called on the Federal Government to assist the state in the fight against COVID-19, as have been done for other states.

Some close contacts of the index case, whose samples turned out negative, anxiously await the return of their friend.

They also revealed how they passed through intense level of stigmatization.

With the discharge of the five patients, Adamawa State now has 12 active COVID-19 cases at its treatment centre.
