Following the continues spread of the deadly Coronavirus, the Plateau State Ministry of Health has made available three isolation centres within the state to ensure early sign of the virus is acted upon immediately.
The State Commissioner for Health, Nimkong Lar, confirmed this to reporters while appealing to the people of the state to ensure they follow all precautionary measures as stipulated by the World Health Organisation, WHO, the Federal Ministry of Health, Center for Disease Control and the Plateau State Ministry of Health.
According to the Commissioner, the three facilities are the Bingham University Teaching Hospital Jos, Plateau State Specialist Hospital, and the Jos University Teaching Hospital.
He admonished people in the state experiencing any COVID-19 symptoms to ensure they avoid any form of contact with others and report immediately to any of the three facilities.
