Leaders in all spheres have been advised to emulate the sacrificial life of Jesus Christ and work towards the achievement of a new Nigeria, devoid of nepotism.

Chairman of the Christian Association of Nigeria, CAN, Kano State Chapter, Reverend Samuel Adeyemo, and other clergymen in their Easter messages, said the country will soon overcome its present challenges.

Meanwhile, Christian faithful in Port Harcourt, the Rivers State capital, have joined their counterparts across the world to observe this year’s Easter celebration, to mark the resurrection of Jesus Christ on the third day after He was crucified at the Cross of Calvary.

The clergy admonished the faithful that the celebration of Easter is an indication that mankind has been forgiven from wrongdoings.

In Ilorin, the Kwara State capital, Christians were told that without Easter there is no Christianity. They are, therefore, enjoined to emulate Christ by following His lifestyle as He died to save the world regardless of tribe or any religion.
