bolsonaro call for impeachment

Jair Bolsonaro has tougher days ahead as all the security chiefs have resigned in the wake of his growing struggle with containing the pandemic. Brazil, currently the nation with the second-highest count of COVID-19 infections, recently recorded its highest daily record of 3,780 cases.

The President who had previously told citizens to stop whining about the pandemic just had all his defense chiefs resign in protest. Over 314,000 people have died and over 80% of the ICU beds have been occupied.

Quite a number of Brazilians have blamed the president for the health crisis in the nation. Jair Bolsonaro is now facing his most challenging time in office as this will be the first time in history all the service chiefs will in unison disagree with the president.

Jair Bolsonaro has also resisted lockdowns on grounds that it is detrimental to the economy. He also has major concerns about the vaccines.
