A concerned Ugandan Citizen identified as Mr Adens Rutaro Ntare has sued Bobi Wine, real name Robert Kyagulanyi and Kizza Besigye for running unregistered political organizations.
Mr Adens accused Besigye of establishing and running political activities under the ‘People’s Government’ tag which he observed is reserved for only registered Political Parties as stated within the constitution.
He also accused Bobi Wine of running a self-styled political organisation with three names which goes thus: People Power Movement, People Power Uganda and People Power; all which he claims are used interchangeably contrary to Article 72(2) of the Ugandan Constitution.
The petition was filed one day after the popular artist revealed his regional coordinators and plans for his 2021 presidential bid.
