The Nigerian Army has formally handed over one hundred and eighty- three children linked with the Boko Haram terrorist group in the Northeast, to the United Nations Children and Education Fund, for rehabilitation.
The rescued children include 175 boys and 8 girls. Some of these children were used as fighters and suicide bombers.
The children would go through comprehensive psychological support and rehabilitation programme to help their integration into the society.
