Serria Leone has picked the final qualification spot for the 33rd Africa Nations Cup, Cameroon 2021.
The Leone stars defeated the squirrels of Benin Republic by a lone goal in their rescheduled matchday 6 fixture of the qualification campaign to advance on superior goal difference to the Benin Republic having tied on points with their fellow West African nation.
The match initially scheduled for the 30th of March was postponed after the Benin Republic refused to play in protest of several of their players’ allegedly returning positive Covid-19 test shortly before the kickoff.
