Thirty kidnapped students of the Federal Government College Birnin Yauri have been released by their abductors.
The students are already in Birnin Kebbi, the capital of Kebbi State.
The students are to undergo medical checkups before being reunited with their families.
According to a statement released by the Special Adviser to Kebbi State Governor on Media, Yahaya Sarki, the Kebbi State government is intensifying efforts for the release of the remaining abducted students of the Federal Government College Birnin Yauri.
The statement added that the state government appreciates the role of the security agencies for the success recorded.
