6.4 Magnitude Earthquake hits Zagreb, Croatia

An earthquake with a 6.4 magnitude and 6-mile radius struck near the capital of the Croatian capital on Tuesday, according to the GFZ German Research Centre for Geosciences. 

The tremor which occurred 50 kilometres away from a previous one in Petrinja leaves five people dead, however, debris and roof tiles were seen on the pavement as police surrounded the area. 

A day before, a similar earthquake struck close to Petrinja causing one death and leaving 27 injured.
