40% OF SOUTH AFRICANS TO GIVE UP SOCIAL MEDIA

According to a study conducted by Kaspersky Lab, it has been established that one in four of South Africans is more than willing to give up their social media accounts in exchange for digital privacy for the rest of their lives.

Despite the rise in global mobile phone sales at a current 2% some people are looking towards dropping their digital phones to ensure their information is secure.

Currently, without identification the social media experience can lack the essentials which is personalised user experience leaving a distateful aftertaste if those features are suddenly removed.

However, many customers are now becoming more wary about the information disclosed and shared online, and though taking steps like updating security tokens and software updates, an increasingly number of consumers are not convinced it is enough considering the trends of privacy scandal.
