The Imo state Governor Hope Uzodinma says there is need for the Nigeria Guild of Editors to help in ensuring free and credible elections through their reportage.
The Governor stated this while declaring open the 18th all Editors conference in Owerri capital of Imo state.
Governor Uzodinma says the role of the Editors is critical to the success of the 2023 elections and as such should stop propagating divisive and toxic utterances capable of disrupting the pool.

He asked the Editors to dispassionately distance themselves from proprietorial interest and be guided instead by National interest.
