A South-East group which is also known as Team Nigeria has called for the adoption of favorable zoning conditions to enable the South-East to produce the next president come 2023.
The group, while speaking to reporters in Abuja, expressed worry over what it called a long marginalisation of the region, saying that it will be unfair to deny the region the chance to have the next president.
The South-East group added that if the president must remain in the north, then the North-Central should be considered for the presidency as the region has also been marginalised.
