Zamfara State Police Command now has a new commissioner. He is CP Hussain Rabiu. Rabiu took over from Abutu Yaro, who has been redeployed to the Imo State Police Command.
A statement by the Command’s Public Relations Officer, SP Mohammed Shehu, said the new Commissioner Oof Police has since assumed duty on the 6th of May.
He is the 30th Commissioner Zamfara State Police Command has had.
CP Rabiu has served at various Police Divisions and Commands, including Imo State, where he served as Deputy Commissioner of Police in charge of the operations.
He was promoted to the rank of Commissioner of Police and posted to Force Headquarters, Abuja, to serve as CP Explosive Ordinance Department, EOD.
