X files actor Pierre Collingwood popularly known as Peter Donat has died. According to reports he died from complications arising from diabetes.
His wife Maria Donat confirmed the news and although Donats career spans across roles in Broadway, television and film, he is best known for his role in the TV production X-files as William Mulder, father to agent Fox.
The 90-year-old passed away at his home in California. He is survived by his wife and sons Caleb, Christopher and Lucas
