Tottenham Hotspur through a club statement, have agreed a contingency plan to play the rest of their home games for this season at Wembley, if their new stadium, the New White Hart Lane continues to face delays.
The New White Hart Lane was scheduled to be ready for use from the 15th of September but the failure of critical safety systems meant it was delayed, with Spurs confirming that their new stadium would not be ready until 2019.
After the home game against Chelsea on the 24th of November, Tottenham’s remaining league fixtures will be capped at 51,000 in terms of spectators, due to local council restrictions.
