Franky Zapata, a French Inventor has on his second attempt successfully crossed from France and arrived in England 22 minutes later on a 22-mile trip at 106 miles per hour with a single stopover to refuel.

According to the inventor, the machine was invented in 2011, designed to use a water jet to propel a rider through the air behind a boat, it also uses a computer to keep it stabilized and runs on four turbo engines.

Zapata has widely displayed the application of his device, once at the Bastille Day celebrations with a gun to display how security personnel can use the device to establish total security coverage.

He was recently granted a €1.3 million grant from France’s defence and procurement agency in 2018 to help with the development of the mobility device.
