A video of Reverend Canon, Sammy Wainaina of the All Saints Cathedral is making the rounds where he criticized the President and his Vice over the rising political tensions in the country.
According to the Provost, the class war was already underway between the rich and the poor, and doing anything to accentuate that could lead to anarchy
“This is how anarchy starts. Currently, the church is silent on what is going in the country but I will speak even if I am the lone voice,” the Reverend said.
Revd. Wainaina rebuked the President, Uhuru Kenyatta for failing to live up to the symbol of national unity by saying that other tribes needed to take up the leadership reigns.
The religious leader described the statement as ethnic bigotry and promoting tribalism.
