Respite has come to the families of security agencies who lost their lives in the recent violent attacks in Imo State. The State Governor, Hope Uzodimma gave 5 million Naira each to the families of the slain officers.
In the past weeks, Imo State was almost turned into a theater of war, as major security facilities were attacked in different locations in the state. Some officers on duty lost their lives during those violent attacks.
But today, succour has come to the families of the slain officers.
Governor Uzodimma who regretted the unfortunate incident handed over a sum of five million naira each to the families of the deceased.
He also commended the security agencies for their dogged act towards restoring peace in the state.
The Governor, however, called on security agencies not to be deterred by the unfortunate incidents of the past weeks but to be resolute to fight crime and criminalities in the state.
