Nigeria’s House of Representatives committee investigating alleged irregularities in the National Pension Commission, PENCOM, has invited the Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, CBN, Godwin Emefiele, to appear before it next Tuesday to clarify alleged non remittances of 33 billion Naira by PENCOM.
Also to appear alongside the CBN Governor is the Accountant General of the Federation, Ahmed Idris.
The committee said the invitation is necessary to clarify noticeable discrepancies in the pension deductions.
