Too Early to Celebrate Londoner cured of HIV/AIDS?

A Lucky HIV/AIDS victim who has been cured of the disease currently residing in London has stunned the world as many are yet to come to terms with the fact that although previously plagued with the disease, he now has a new chance at life.

It is widely acclaimed that he is the second person to be cured of the life threatening disease, following a bone marrow transplant for another ailment by a rare genetic mutation that provides resistance to HIV.

There are rumours of another patient cured of the deadly virus, the Düsseldorf patient going through the same procedure which is also similar to the first case as well

However, Researchers and experts alike have reiterated that is is much too early to affirm that they have been truly cured as only a short time has elapsed and they would need to be monitored for at least a year.

Regardless the medical community is joyous as this could lead to a breakthrough in an epidermic that has taken millions of lives and an estimated 37 million people living with the disease.
