Mackenzie (No longer Bezos) has confirmed that her divorce is finally completed by sharing a tweet confirming the dissolution of her marriage to Jeff Bezos.
But unlike most anticipated the divorce did not reduce Jeff Bezos’ worth as he still remains the world’s richest man valued at $110 Billion. Mackenzie gave up her interests in the Washington Post, Blue Origin and most importantly, voting rights as 75% of the $143 billion stake at Amazon would still be under Jeff’s jurisdiction.
Mackenzie is still a wealthy woman, ranked to be the world’s fourth-richest woman despite giving up her voting rights at Amazon valued to be worth approximately $36 billion.
Jeff also commented on Mackenzie’s twitter post, thanking her for making the divorce process so easy.
