The Federal Government has announced that Anambra, Bayelsa, Bauchi, Benue, Kaduna, Kogi, Niger, Ogun, Kebbi, and Zamfara states will get one maximum integrated rice milling machine each by December next year.
The Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development, Audu Ogbeh revealed this in Abuja during the pact signing with suppliers of the farm equipment. The equipment allegedly costs 10 billion Naira.
According to the minister, the benefiting states are to indicate show technical capacity to own and operate the mill.
The Bank of Agriculture is expected to take over the loans in ten years.
