The federal Lawmaker representing Ibi/Wukari federal constituency of Taraba state Hon. Usman Danjuma Shiddi, has decried the muscling of opposition parties candidates in the state by the governor Darius Ishaku towards the 2023 general elections.
The federal Lawmaker lawmaker alleged that democracy is under serious threat in Taraba owing to the actions of the governor, he said as at today, his campaign Director General Dantani Meshach is in detention over spurious allegations of killings and kidnapping orchestrated by the state governor and his cohorts despite been granted bail by a competent court of jurisdiction.
The Lawmaker also accused the governor of manipulating the judiciary in the state to perpetuate his agenda while calling on the president of the country, Chief Justice of the federation and all relevant authorities to call the governor to order.
