The Governorship Election Tribunal has commenced sitting in Jalingo capital of Taraba.
The three-man tribunal headed by Justice G.A Sunmonu and have the following as members Justice U Onwosi, Kadi M.N. Sidi began hearing on its first case between the PDP and NNPP.
The NNPP has challenged the victory of Kefas Agbu, the standard bearer of PDP in the last governorship election.
The governor who set aside his immunity appeared in court to witness the procedure.
Speaking to reporters at the court premises, the governor expressed confidence in the judiciary.
