The Niger Delta Development Commission, NDDC, says it will continue to lend hands of fellowship with state Governors in the Niger Delta region in order to achieve sustainable development.

The Interim Administrator of the NDDC, Effiong Akwa, stated this when he visited the Delta State Governor, Ifeanyi Okowa, in Asaba.

Since his appointment as the Interim Administrator of the NDDC, Akwa has been on the road interacting with stakeholders, including state governors.

The latest visit took him to Asaba, the Delta State capital, where he met with Governor Okowa. The Governor who commended Akwa and his team for the visit said the development of the Niger Delta region requires strong partnership.

Governor Okowa also received six waste disposal tracks donated by the NDDC, to help the state government manage its waste properly.
