Suspected herdsmen kill 4 in Plateau on Valentine's Day

No few than four youths have been killed on Sunday night, February 14, 20201, after a group of some suspected Fulani herdsmen allegedly invaded two villages in Kwall District of Bassa Local Government Area of Plateau State.

The attack which took place in Ribakwa and Zirshe communities, all in Kwall District new around the National College of Accountancy (ANAN), was confirmed by the Spokesperson of the Plateau State Command, ASP Gabriel Ubah.

The killings are coming barely a week after the Northern Governors Forum, NGF, under the leadership of Governor Simon Lalong of Plateau State, said the current system of open grazing, operated by herders in the country, was no longer sustainable.
