Meanwhile, Senate President, Ahmad Lawan has commended the judiciary for strengthening democracy, stating that the ruling in his favour, showed that “democracy was at work.”
The APC had delivered victory to Lawan after dragging his opponent, Machina to the apex court while insisting that Lawan,who didn’t contest at the primary poll, was its “authentic candidate.”
Lawan appreciated his political party for fighting tooth and nail for his victory while re-echoing his support for the party’s presidential and vice-presidential candidates, Bola Tinubu and Kashim Shettima
