Sunday Igboho Hearing to hold today

Sunday Igboho the Yoruba Nation freedom fighter court’s hearing is slated for Thursday morning in Benin Republic. This was revealed in a live update on Thursday by his spokeswoman Olayomi Koiki.

The court hearing is scheduled to commence by 10 AM at the Benin Republic court. The outcome of the arrest will be decided by the court, and there will be an opportunity to present a case, which will focus on Igboho’s personality.

“We know the magnitude of what the Nigerian government is trying to do if they try to get hold of Igboho but they will fail, by God’s grace. Their intention was to capture him (Igboho), but God fought for him”.

Olayomi said

It is noteworthy that the International Criminal Police Organization detained Sunday Igboho in Cotonou, Benin Republic after the Federal Government raised concerns that the activist had plans to leave the country.

The Department of State Services, DSS, declared Sunday Igboho wanted after they stormed his home in Ibadan, Oyo State capital, for attempting to jeopardize the country’s unity.

He is presently in the custody of Security operatives in Cotonou.
