The house of representatives has called for a full scale investigation into the large scale distribution and sales of substandard Harpic, Hypo and other non-effective disinfectants into the Nigerian market to unsuspecting customers.
In a motion sponsored by Hon. Sergius Ogun from Edo State at plenary, the lawmaker in his argument called for an investigation into the activities of any authority executing or administering the quality of Toilet Clean Disinfectants used in Nigeria.
The motion was supported with various amendments and was passed by the house.
