Stormy Daniels, a porn star has been ordered by a California Judge to pay President Donald Trump the sum of $293,000 and an additional $1,000 in sanctions after her defamation suit against the president was dismissed.
The $293,000 is a legal fee for her dismissed legal suit against the president. She was ordered by the Federal Judge in Los Angeles on Tuesday, December 11, 2018.
Trump’s lawyers initially requested close to $390,000 as an amount in sanctions to serve as a deterrent against a consistent filer of frivolous defamation cases. The requested legal fee was slashed by 25% by Judge S. James Otero.
It would be recalled that Daniels claimed to have had an affair with the president in 2006 and received payment of $130,000 as part payment for a non-disclosure agreement just a few days before the 2016 American presidential election.
Trump dismissed her claims and for this reason, she sued for defamation.
Stormy Daniels Attorney Michael Avenatti said the Judge’s order will not hold up on appeal. He made this revelation via a Tweet.
