A former Senior Special Assistant to President Muhammadu Buhari on House of Representatives matters, Abdulrahman Sumaila, has called on the Federal Government to urgently address social injustice, marginalization and inequality.
Sumaila, who is contesting for the Kano South senatorial seat on the platform of New Nigerian Peoples Party made the observation at the Kano State Correspondents’ Chapel dialogue series for political office contestants.
He said numerous agitations in the country is blamed on social injustice and inequality, recalling that during his interaction with some of the agitators, especially those from the South East, they complained of marginalization and non-inclusiveness in government programmes, which informed their decision to clamor for secession from Nigeria.
