Sierra Leone’s president resumes duties today after Isolatory period

The president of Sierra Leone, Julius Maada Bio is set to resume work in his office tomorrow, Wednesday, 6th of May, after he has been working from home for the past two weeks.

The President has been tested for the COVID-19 virus, the test returned negative.

The president went into self-isolation about 15 days ago after one of the security guards was tested positive for the fast-spreading COVID 19 virus.

The president announced his test results in a Twitter post. He said that he is very healthy and is very determined to fight the virus in Sierra Leone.

Sierra Leone Nationwide lockdown to curb the spread of the COVID-19 virus is set to end tomorrow also.

According to statistics, Sierra Leone has confirmed 166 cases of the COVID 19 virus and nine deaths have been recorded
