Sierra Leone embarks on 3-day lockdown after 2 cases of COVID-19

Sierra Leone recently recorded two cases of the COVID-19 in Freetown, the country’s capital.

Following the outbreak, 3 days national lockdown will follow suit as announced by Brig (Rtd) Kellie Conteh, Sierra Leone’s national COVID19 Coordinator.

Churches, mosques and other religious gatherings are banned as well as land and international flights coming into Kenya.

The sum of $7.5 million will also be received by the country as announced by World Bank to help developing countries in fighting the pandemic disease.
