The SSG While briefing newsmen says the Emir has consistently refused to abide by instructions given to him by the state government.
In a press statement, the Kano Executive Council with due approval from the Governor, Alhaji Ganduje expressed that the Emir was dethroned for refusing to attend official meetings and programmes without justification and ‘insubordination’ in their own words.
The dethronement according to the statement is within the confines of the laws of the state.
