Ademola Lookman will not take part in Atalanta-Roma, a game that will close the match schedule of the week 31st fixture on Monday evening
The Nigeria international forward missed the Blue-and-Blacks 1-1 draw away at Fiorentina last Monday due to a physical problem and was subjected to some further tests.
The result of the test has confirmed that the 25-year-old forward copped a muscle strain to his right thigh.
Gasperini will, however, hope Lookman’s injury is a minor one as expected as the club currently occupy sixth position in Serie A with 49 points from 30 games.
